Attention Artists:

Project:  We invite you to submit up to three visual art images for the 2010 Icelandic National League Calendar.  Submissions under the umbrella of visual art include: photographs of sculptures and carvings drawings (no paintings), printmaking, etc.  Submissions will be in an open category, up to the discretion of the artist. This special project is open to all visual artists of Icelandic descent.

Important Dates:  We will be accepting images between October 1st and October 31st, 2008. 

Technical Information:  High quality images either scanned from 35 mm slides or high-resolution digital images.  These ideally should be better than 2000 x1500 pixel digital images or the equivalent quality scanner images.

Slides:  Print artist’s name, title of work, size and medium used.  On right hand side have an arrow indicating  ‘top’.  When shooting photos of works, please have the whole painting in the viewfinder, filling the entire window.  Do not include the frame.  Please note that slides will not be returned.

Biography/artist’s statement:
Please write and send a short (50 words max.) artist statement and biography with your name, contact information (phone, e-mail, and website), where you live, and the name of the INL chapter you will be representing.
