Pat Peacock, poured kaffi and served donuts and vinarterta to Heather and Robert in her South Surrey, BC home.

The mood was warm and friendly in this the first recorded segment for the S.I.R pilot program.

Interview Length - 9:43 min.

Pat is hard at work preparing her many new pieces of art for shipment to Gimli, Manitoba, and her big 2 week show there in mid summer. Her art will be on display in the "Old School", now home to an art gallery, civic offices and several odd looking huldafolk.

Pat has become a true west coast aficionado. She loves her garden and the year 'round ferns and greenery outside.

Bottles - Working from Chaos to Order - an exercise in negative shapes.

This particular piece is the result of three workups and came about as a result of her teaching an art class about this process to White Rock seniors.

At work in the ground floor studio in her home. As she showed her facilities to her guests, she was heard to mutter, "There's not enough light in this room".

Her paintings reveal that she seems to manage quite well with the light that's available to her.

Pat is now a grandmother. Her daughter, Jennifer, has just given birth to her first child, young Nathan. Jennifer lives with her husband Eric, just south of Gimli in Sandy Hook. Jennifer was the ICC of BC Princess during Expo '86.

We wish Pat all the best with her upcoming art show in Gimli. The preview that we had indicates, to us at least, that her show will be a stunning success!
