NIGHT OPS - this view was taken by a special night vision device. Due to the hot weather, some military operations are conducted a night when it is a little cooler. These activities can also include the transport of vital combat commodities to the troops. |

Soldiers must practice shooting their weapons at night so that they can defend themselves and go on the offensive in the dark. Seeing the enemy under these conditions requires special night vision goggles or viewing devices. |
