The
Viking Ship
Project

The Munin is a 40 foot (half scale) replica of the Gokstad ship.
It was built to mark the millennium by a consortium of Scandinavian craftsmen. Construction took place at the
Scandinavian Community Centre in Burnaby, BC. The ship is berthed at the Vancouver Maritime Museum dock for the summer months.

The all wood craft is available for weekend rowing and sailing trips during the summer. Munin certainly catches the eye.
