........Hveragerði Choir - Canada USA Tour - 2005.

A wonderful mixed choir from Hveragerði, Iceland, performed its first concert in its 2005 tour at the Scandinavian Centre in Burnaby recently.

This segment features three songs from their recently recorded Concert CD at the Hveragerði Church in Iceland.

Robert Asgeirsson spoke with the choir's conductor, Margrét Stefánsdóttir. In addition to her conducting duties, she also appears as the featured soloist and sings in duets as well. Accompanying the choir were pianist Ester Ólafsdóttir and trombonist Ian Wilkinson.
