INL of NA Calendar for 2009 Each year the Icelandic National League of North America creates a themed calendar to sell as a fundraising venture. The 2009 calendar’s theme is that of visual art. These calendars are distributed across North America for sale to the Club Chapters who, in turn, sell them to their members and the public. For the 2009 calendar, visual artists are invited to submit a maximum of three painting images. Submissions will be in an open category, and the theme and images will reflect the discretion of the artist. This special project is open to all visual artists of Icelandic descent. The committee will be accepting images from September 1st to September 29, 2007. Technical Information: High quality images either scanned from 35 mm slides or high-resolution digital images. These ideally should be better than 2000 x1500 pixel digital images or the equivalent quality scanner images. Slides: Print artist’s name, title of painting, size and medium used. On right hand side have an arrow indicating ‘top’. When shooting photos of works, please have the whole painting in the viewfinder, filling the entire window. Do not include the frame.
