The Brandon Falkinn Icelandic-Canadian Club has been working hard on details for the 2012 convention. We appreciate all the help and advice that we have received.

NOTE: To start the convention, we want to give our guests an opportunity to visit. Therefore, there will be a “Meet & Greet” on Thursday, May 3 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. There will be no entertainment – just time to visit and as a bonus Icelandic food will be served.

DISPLAYS: The displays and the health/coffee breaks will be held in Salon B, adjacent to Salon A – the main meeting room. Vendors are invited to start setting up the displays at Noon on Thursday, May 3. The cost per table will be available soon. REGISTRATION: Registration will start at 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 3, 2012. We are hoping to have the registration form on this website by Christmas. We continue to look for ways to keep the registration cost as low as possible.

SILENT AUCTION: We need a variety of items for the silent auction. Does anyone out there have items to donate? Any donation will be deeply appreciated.

SUNDAY CAR RALLY: We are hoping to have an old fashioned car rally on Sunday, May 6 to Grund Church & cemetery, lunch at Bru Café, Skálholt cemetery and more. If you are interested, e-mail Donna Staples at staples.mts.net and indicate if you would have room in your vehicle for extra passengers.
