Ever wanted to learn Icelandic? Now you can! Tala Íslensku focuses on conversational Icelandic delivered in engaging style through exercises, games, role-plays & songs.

Newcomers and all levels of proficiency are welcome. To cover expenses, a $5 donation is suggested per class.

These evening classes meet once a month, and consist of one hour instruction & half hour optional study time

Dates for autumn 2014 were Wednesdays - September 17, October 15, & November 19, from 7 PM to 8:30.

Dates for spring 2015 are Tuesdays - January 20, February 17, March 24, April 21, May 19 from 7 PM to 8:30.

Location: Macalester College, Leonard Center, Athletic Complex, West side of Snelling Ave., South between Grand Ave. and St. Clair Ave., VIP Hall of Fame Room

Parking: Here is a map. The preferred parking lot is immediately south of the Leonard Center Athletic Complex, between the football stadium and Leonard Center Athletic Complex. There is a door to the building on that south side. Tell the student monitors you are attending a class in the Hall of Fame Room.

Room: Here is a floor plan for the Leonard Center Athletic Complex which shows the VIP Hall of Fame Room in yellow, about half way down the hallway, as well as the door to enter, located by the grey "receiving area".
