The Icelandic National League of North America is an all volunteer organization that helps support local Icelandic clubs and others interested in Icelandic culture and heritage through many programs.

The League has been engaged in this activity since 1919 and provides opportunities for annual gatherings, visiting youth programs, visiting speaker events, film series and book club readings. The organization has even created an online club to provide individuals without access to a local club, to participate in activities. The League also helps raise funds for a worthy charity that helps financially challenged families in Iceland. Our goal in all of these activities is to build and maintain connections across the continent for our shared enthusiasm for Icelandic heritage and culture.

Operating on a shoestring budget can be a financial challenge to an organization spread across such a vast geographic area and we are always searching for ways to continue to fund our programs.
